The Executive Search team at Mars was established in 2021 and is going from strength. Due to both increased demand and the support from the business, we expanded the team in 2022 and now have a team of 5 supporting executive search and talent sourcing.

The Mars Executive Search team are responsible for is identifying, qualifying and assessing executive talent for our most senior executive positions across Mars Inc, including confectionary, pet care, food, innovation and Mars Global Services.

The Recruitment Coordinator - Executive Search will support the team lead and executive recruiters with the day-to-day logistics of interviews, hiring and assessment, for senior (P4 / T3-plus) positions across the globe. This will be a 'white glove' service to candidates, hiring managers and leaders within the P&O community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, schedule and arrange the logistics for virtual and in person interviews across Mars Inc and the individual segments. This will lead engagement with the coordinators of senior leaders, the candidates, P&O and the recruiter responsible for the individual position,
  • Track, update and format the executive search cost avoidance tracker. This is currently created in excel and tracks the savings the team have made YTD,
  • Support the team in creating specific executive search documents, templates, reports and other ad-hoc requests,
  • Assisting with Workday requests & changes to roles, descriptions and offer management,
  • Creating an exceptional experience for executive candidates,
  • Other bespoke projects and requests that come from the team, business or P&O.

Key Relationships:

  • Global Executive Search Director and Executive Search colleagues,
  • Administrative and EA' colleagues across the Mars organisation, inc hiring managers and the P&O leadership,
  • External and internal candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience when it comes to arranging the logistics of virtual and in-person interviews.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience of supporting senior leaders with a focus on administrative support and coordination,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with change and ambiguity,
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with expertise in finding clarity in the perceived chaos,
  • Calm under pressure with an approachable, collaborative working style,
  • Curious, challenging, adaptable and passionate about the work you deliver,
  • Excellent computer literacy including all Microsoft packages.
