About the Role 

iCapital is looking to hire a Master Data Management Assistant Vice President to join the Data Governance/Master Data Management team. This person will be responsible for reviewing alternative investment offering documents while inputting relevant information into the iCapital platform to support the organization Master data. This role will require someone who can clearly communicate to various teams and the ideal candidate will be interested in analyzing data and working with necessary teams to track and monitor data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate should have alternative investment product knowledge or experience reading contracts. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage initial entries and ongoing updates of alternative investment funds and information into the iCapital platform. This includes extracting and summarizing key legal terms from fund-related legal documents in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the data on the system are maintained. 
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the nature and position of the post. 
• Engage with various business teams to stay informed on existing funds and timely onboarding of new funds.  
• Execute quality assurance reviews.  
• Work on special projects that will help ensure quality data.  

Qualifications 

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills  
• Self-discipline, motivation, and able to work effectively in a team environment  
• Detailed-orientated and able to efficiently identify key information and nuances within legal language 
•  A self-starter who enjoys managing their daily work while meeting KPIs and supporting the overall team’s goals  
• Familiar with limited partnership agreements and/or other legal contracts 
• A team player who wants to develop project management skills and data quality skills  
• 2-4 years of experience in contract law or a similar field 
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office software  
• 6+ years of experience in the financial industry or experience in contract law is preferred 
• Knowledge of alternative investments product is preferred 
• Understanding of various offering documents (e.g., prospectus, private placement memorandum, supplements, financial statements) is preferred 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $180,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
