Reference Data Product Manager Principal

This role offers a hybrid work schedule; offering the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, while providing the opportunity for in-person collaboration.

About the Role

• As Data Product Manager Principal, you will be part of a team that is obsessed with driving actionable insights by building best-in-class reference data products that consistently deliver results for our customers, clients, and stakeholders.

• You will be accountable for multiple reference data products, their development from conception to launch, their integration into the greater data ecosystem, and their management post-development
• You will bridge the business and technical realms to understand client pain points, refining business requirements and prioritize the work of your reference data products' agile teams to drive the largest client impact
• You will champion your reference data products showing their business value across the organization
• You will iterate your reference data products development based on stakeholder feedback
• You will define stores, prioritize the backlog of multiple agile teams, and develop and maintain multiple reference data product roadmaps with an emphasis on balancing competing reference data product priorities
• You will work with stakeholders to understand and fix issues across multiple reference data products
• You will assist leadership in setting and measuring objectives and key results (OKRs)
• You will prioritize reference data product delivery to meet business requirements at a sustainable cadence
• You will mentor reference data product team members to fulfill the reference data product vision

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years' related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 13 years' higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 9 years' related experience

• Robust understanding of full-cycle product development within an Agile framework
• Knowledge of statistics, data science techniques and tools, and multiple relational and Not Only Structured Query Language (NoSQL) databases
• Proven experience in advanced data architecture concepts
• Proven experience integrating data governance practices into product development
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple data products
• Proven experience pulling, wrangling, and querying database using data analytic tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' data product experience
• Fintech experience
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple data products in an active role helping build them (engineering, design, data, marketing, or similar)
• Experience writing technical stories in agile project tracking software using industry standard notations
• Understanding of specific domains as required by assignment
• Proven experience using change management best practices for adoption of product changes within multiple user group
• PROSCI certification
• CSPO Certification (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
• Experience with Reference Data
