Job Description

Position Summary:

The Referral Coordinator ensures Referrals made by the providers are processed to ensure our patients receive timely follow-up, on their diagnosis. They verify patient's insurance and request authorization for pending referrals. Referral Coordinators are required to follow-up with patients to ensure the patient has all required information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate referral appointments
  • Maintain and update patient records
  • Verify patient insurance information
  • Provide administrative support
  • Answer patient questions

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
