Referral Management Project Manager

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an Interface Integration Project Manager to provide Cerner oversight to software development efforts.

• Ensure coordination with necessary stakeholders (e.g., Cerner, VA OIT, EHRM-IO teams).
• Evaluate and manage technical projects in the area of Referral Management.
• Coordinate and support various meetings, create meeting minutes, track action items and follow up.
• Facilitate meetings and events between DCIO and VHA clinical teams.
• Maintain, add, and track team actions using project management methodology and standard collaboration tools (SharePoint).
• Support all program/project planning and milestone development, perform review of technical COAs and architecture diagrams. 

Minimum qualifications: 

• 10+ years of professional work experience 
• Must have experience with Inner Facility Consultants
• Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects.
• Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.
• Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress.
• Must be able to identify and mitigate risks. 
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare IT, Computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field. 8 years additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree 

Preferred qualifications: 

• Experience with the VA 
• Experience with Electronic Health Records

Compensation:

• Full-Time Direct Hire
• Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
