Referrals Rep I

Job Description

Responsible for serving as front-line support for the Scheduling Center within Floyd Healthcare Management Inc. The Referrals Rep I will answer incoming calls in order to address the appropriate course of action. The Referrals Rep I is responsible for scheduling moderately complex and specialized procedures and coordinating multiple resources for patient having multiple services. The Referrals Rep I reports to the Referrals Supervisor.

Qualifications:

A. Education

1. High school diploma or GED from accredited institute required

B. Experience

1. One year of related customer facing healthcare experience required

2. Patient scheduling and/or physician front office experience preferred

3. Understanding of basic medical terminology preferred
