Be part of the solution
As the Products Portfolio Manager in Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for the refinery and fuels products portfolio. You will develop and execute the strategy, strengthen brand equity, and drive return on technology investment. You will work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and functional disciplines to make strategic investment decisions, go-to-market strategy, development of product marketing materials, and support of production processes. You will be responsible for the portfolio’s functional, business, and financial performance.
As the Products Portfolio Manager you will also be responsible for:
- Leading and executing strategy, lifecycle management and optimisation for effective product portfolio management on a global scale
- The portfolio’s functional, business and financial performance
- Collaborating with sales, commercial and marketing to deploy the strategy for both established and new products
- Delivering business growth through New Product Introduction (NPI), Advanced Technology Development, Service and Productivity initiatives
- Leading NPI planning and delivering commercial success in coordination with commercial, operations and technology stakeholders for global regions
- Leading in Stage Gate product and technology development teams, including documentation as required for gate meetings.
- Planning and designing platform strategies for short and long-term product positioning and business impact.
- Working with Supply Chain to identify and create supply strategies and cost targets
- Representing the organization in outside discussions, customers and technical forums
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Core Values.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Extensive experience in Downstream process operations and fuel additives
- Knowledge of Eastern Hemisphere market and customers
- A track record in sales, business development, operations, service delivery, technology or technical support.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines and levels
- A Growth mindset, problem-solving ability and results orientated
- Familiarity with ISO, API, and other regulatory standards.
- Good customer relationship skills and the ability to assimilate technical and commercial information strategically for successful outcomes
- Travel required (>25%)
