Truform Metal Services Inc. is a leading "HVAC mechanical contractor," "commercial refrigeration specialist," seeking a dedicated and skilled Refrigerant HVAC Superintendent to join our growing team. As our Refrigerant HVAC Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex HVAC projects, with a particular focus on refrigerant-based systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Include: · Supervising and coordinating on-site HVAC crews and subcontractors. · Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. · Interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documents. · Managing project schedules, resources, and materials. · Conducting quality control inspections and ensuring adherence to industry best practices for refrigerant handling and system installation. · Troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues related to HVAC and refrigerant systems. · Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders. · Mentoring and training junior technicians. Qualifications: • · Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC installation and service, with a significant focus on refrigerant systems (e.g., chillers, VRF, DX systems, commercial refrigeration). · Proven experience in a supervisory or superintendent role. · Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and best practices. · EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (required). · Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents. · Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. · OSHA [Relevant Certification, e.g., 30-hour] is a plus. · Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
