Region Manager- Midwest Region

Job Summary:
MUST BE LOCATED IN THE MIDWEST
The Region Manager will plan, direct, and control multiple operating facilities in accordance with established pricing and operational assumptions through subordinate managers.
Essential Functions:
• Develop policies, programs, and procedures to operate efficient customer accounts based on contractually agreed to performance measurements.
• Recruits, orients, and trains Operations Managers.
• Submits cost reduction recommendations and controls discretionary expenses.
• Manages customer expectations through regular communication and implementation of continuous improvement processes.
• Develops local recruiting strategies and establishes driver retention programs.
• Enforces compliance with administration policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
• Directs operation and maintenance of equipment and communication systems.
• Provides guidance to resolve technical and personnel problems.
• Analyzes existing operations and develops plans, policies, and budgets.
• Other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five or more years of related experience.
• Should be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
• Should have the ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written ,oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
