Region Manager, Southwest: 

As a Region Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company by overseeing the sales performance in a specific geographic area. Your responsibilities will include managing and leading a team of Growth Managers, developing and executing sales strategies, fostering relationships with our largest partners, and ensuring that sales targets and revenue goals are met.



What you will get to do: 

  • Manage expenses and revenue to goal; understand operational intricacies, create changes, and implement them quickly. 
  • Assist Finance in developing the P&L for the department. 
  • Manage a team of Growth Managers while acting as a Player / Coach in your Region. 
    • Lead by example as a hands-on player/coach, actively engaging in both individual sales efforts and providing guidance to the Growth Managers within your region. 
    • Demonstrate sales excellence and mentorship to foster a high-performance culture. Balance your role between driving personal sales achievements and coaching team members to reach their full potential, creating a dynamic and collaborative sales environment. 
    • Drive results by establishing motivational goals and providing constructive feedback to team members.
    • Ensure that sales quotas/goals are achieved on assigned accounts and improve client engagement. Track growth team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis.
    • Assist team in navigating client relationships, external operations, and project management.
    • Develop training plans for continuous development of team’s sales acumen, relationship development skills, and product knowledge.
    • Eliminate roadblocks for the team, helping them to navigate clients, external operations, and project management. 
  • Take ownership of a strategically identified subset of high impact accounts within your Region (including parking operators, municipalities, asset management companies, etc.). Develop and nurture relationships with these key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and contributing significantly to the overall success of the region.
  • Assist your team with the negotiation and renewal of agreements with clients across the region.
  • Continually refine and improve client up-sales, cross-sales and operational processes through a consultative approach.
  • Analyze data to guide strategy and develop initiatives to ensure your region hits their Sales and Operations metrics.
  • Utilize Salesforce for all tracking and reporting, ensuring all sales team actions are appropriately tracked and recorded.
  • Responsible for building and growing top performing teams, including the hiring/firing, training, performance management, and professional development of each and every team member. 
  • Responsible for ensuring customers in the region are having a positive experience using SpotHero, working closely with supply management to reduce operational issues and manage service related KPIs.
  • Support cross-collaborative projects, and initiatives collaborating with stakeholders to help shape the values, process, and vision of the sales organization:
    • Sales Training Program in conjunction with the Sr. Sales Enablement Manager
    • CRM and pipeline management and optimization
    • Support technical teams (i.e integration hardware)
    • Support Customer Support and Field Operations teams
    • New product roll out & go to market strategy sales strategy
  • Be an industry thought leader, participating in public speaking events and panels to showcase SpotHero as a leader in transportation and technology.
  • Attend select local & national industry-related conferences and tradeshows, when applicable. 
    • Represent SpotHero and build brand awareness. 
    • Identify and research prospective leads to approach during the event.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with clients through attending social events.
  • Secure and safeguard data to preserve its integrity, reliability, and availability and ensure appropriate access levels are maintained.



What you bring: 

  • 7+ years experience in sales, operations, growing/building a new market/segment, with 3+ years experience in management and/or sales or customer success leadership
  • Parking Industry or Asset / Property Management Background
  • Proven consultative sales solution skills with a unique ability to understand client needs 
  • Ability to forecast and manage a budget. In depth management of a P&L. 
  • Demonstrated sales development and training skills. Ability to effectively set motivating goals.
  • Extraordinary analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize data provided to inform strategy.
