Regional Account Manager (Great Lakes)

The Role
The main priority of the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is to drive the strategy and initiatives established by the Congo Brands leadership team within their assigned regional accounts. The RAM will be responsible for achieving volume and distribution goals of the Congo Brands portfolio within their assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell and execute company strategy and initiatives for regional and local chains within an assigned territory
- Influence execution of programs via decision maker within chain
- Ownership of volume targets, spending budgets and overall results within assigned territory
- Ensure area compliance on national corporate mandated and optional programs
- Ensure local market/region pricing is in line with national pricing standards
- Work with Field Sales Organization to ensure In-store standards
- Direct contact to local/regional account teams within distributor to set strategy and sales expectations
- Responsible for building and owning relationships through select management within wholesaler network, sharing key contact responsibilities for company communication
Key Skills and Experience Required
- 5 years' experience managing regional or national accounts, beverage experience preferred
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Existing knowledge of regional off premise chains within assigned territory
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be organized with the ability to work both independently and within team environment.
- Must be adaptive to change within organization and industry
- Must be willing to travel to meet with assigned customers
- Results oriented, innovative, strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Display integrity, character and strong leadership skills.
- Valid Driver's License
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
