Overview

The Metro Account Manager will join our Metro account Sales team. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about building partnerships that will grow our brand and drive sales with key Metro retail partners. You will execute relevant account strategies and tactics (e.g. sell-out programs, training programs, etc.) that delight the customer while exceeding sales targets and overall business objectives. You will eagerly roll up your sleeves and dig into every detail and execute every action in order to drive our company's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters for assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with assigned Metro retail partners to create account-specific plans, targets & sell-out programs to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Analyze and report daily/weekly/monthly account sales data to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate training, marketing and communication plans with key partners both internal and external. Identify additional opportunities for training.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals and all levels of Metro corporate teams to provide support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to identify and grow opportunities within region.

Requirements

  • OEM experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Metro's Retail channels and established relationships with Metro's top retail partners is a must.
  • Metro experience preferred; other carrier experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of business development, account management and/or sales experience in the mobile industry.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally, at all levels.
  • Proven presentation and partner management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a culture that relies on teamwork and communication.
  • A self-starting and resilient attitude and ability to navigate and execute through ambiguity.
  • Passion for driving partnerships that create new opportunities.
  • Global mindset and committed to going the extra mile when needed.
