What You’ll Do 

Work directly with existing customers across a specific geographical territory to ensure high satisfaction and business growth. Develop relationships high and wide within these small & medium-sized companies to establish trust and help them grow their business. Meet or exceed established sales goals and key performance indicators, launch strategic company initiatives, and provide ideas and customer feedback on how to improve the business in your territory.

  • Act as the company’s primary liaison with retail customers.
  • Hold yourself accountable for the success (adoption and growth) of our products within your assigned accounts by designing and executing action plans to drive growth and satisfaction.
  • Meet with 8 customers per day, tailoring our sales message to increase account loyalty and leverage those relationships to increase share of merchant business and improve overall business results for our customers.
  • Minimum expectation of +120 touch points with stores each month.
  • Deliver sales and training presentations to the retail accounts.
  • Travel through assigned territory and diligently utilize Salesforce CRM for planning and documenting contacts (and other relevant info) for the retail customers and their key stakeholders.
  • Leverage customer feedback, observations, and a variety of business reports/data to understand trends, and properly focus on highest priority merchants to meet goals.
  • Demonstrate urgency and tenacity to quickly investigate and resolve customer problems and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain consistent contact through live visits as well as telephone follow-up with both prospects and current merchants.
  • Develop and implement a plan or “playbook” for success and provide daily or weekly updates to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Executive Vice President of Sales or the Regional Sales Director.

About You (Qualifications)

  • 3-5 years of sales experience is preferred.
    • Experience selling in the retail space is desirable.
  • Experience growing existing customer business.
  • Driving is required for this position - Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
    • A current driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
