Regional Category Manager

As a Regional Category Manager you will be in charge of Connection Systems Category with 350 M euros spend/over 100 global and regional suppliers.

Your Role:

• Build and implement long term strategies, aligned with stakeholders and in line with business needs including customer satisfaction, security of supply, overall performance
• Manage team of 6 buyers, develop team capabilities in negotiation, sourcing, implementation of the category strategy
• Manage sourcing activities in line with defined category strategy
• Monitor and improve category performance including commercial, quality and delivery KPIs
• Introduce new suppliers in line with business needs
• Manage relationships with key suppliers
• Lead negotiation of contracts and long term agreements with suppliers
• Reduce risk in supply chain by mitigating single source suppliers, improving localization, monitoring suppliers

Drive continuous improvement thru cross functional collaboration with engineering, commercial, manufacturing
teams

Your Background:

• Engineering degree and/or degree in finance/economics
• At least 8 years of experience in purchasing organization
• Full proficiency in spoken and written English language
• Experience in Connection Systems Category
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Additional advantage would be:
