Regional Communications and Marketing Specialist

As part of the Trane commercial business marketing team, you will collaborate with the Trane Commercial team across the Southern Atlantic Region to execute various internal and external communications, marketing and culture-focused activities. We are looking for someone who considers themselves a team player who is highly organized and pays attention to details. The ideal candidate is somebody who wants to grow their career within the company and contribute to the effectiveness of our customer and employee engagement efforts. You will work day-to-day with the regional sales team to enhance the sales process and build relationships with key customers, influencers, and community associations as needed.
LOCATION & TRAVEL
This position can be located in Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, Greenville, SC, Richmond, VA, Roanoke, VA, and will have responsibilities within the Southern Atlantic Region across Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Travel to various events and our Trane sales and service locations listed above will be required, as well as interactions with customers and other external audiences 20%.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with regional leadership to build and execute effective and compelling marketing campaigns to generate leads and accelerate opportunities through the sales process
- Create region-specific content marketing, digital marketing, sales enablement and public relations programs
- Collaborate with regional leadership team on employee communications and activities including:
- Employee recognition and award programs
- Townhall meetings and other employee events
- Lead development and maintenance of internal communications and collaboration tools (newsletters, Microsoft TEAMS Channel and Sharepoint site)
- Support company philanthropic and community relations strategies and activities
- Partner with Leadership and Development coordinator to plan and execute customer events including engineering newsletter live, product specific trainings, etc.
- Manage tradeshow, event, and sponsorship coordination across the region
- Collaborate with regional leadership team on additional projects, events and communications as neede
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of related experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Modern, creative thinker
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with clients, employees and vendors.
- Project management and event planning
- Must be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Proficiency with Marketo, DemandBase and Wrike is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $52,000-124,000
