Position Description
Title: Regional Continuous Improvement Leader
Department: Operations
Location: Remote - This position is responsible for the following IPG locations: Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, Carlstadt, NJ, Dallas, TX, Bardstown, KY and Widnes, UK.
Immediate Supervisor: VP Operational Excellence
Status: Exempt Salaried
Position Purpose
Leads the Intertape Performance System (IPS) driving excellence throughout the Americas region. The Regional Continuous Improvement Leader leads, drives the development and integration of all continuous improvement methodologies across multiple operations.
Principle Accountabilities
- Drive Intertape Performance Management System (IPS) across our operations
- Collaborate with the operation leadership team to identify and prioritize high impact initiatives that will provide a bottom-line improvement across our operations.
- Drive alignment and effectiveness of continuous improvement activities with the corporate strategies, plans and objectives through close coordination of actively working with Site CI Leaders and Corporate IPS Team.
- Identify and lead high impact initiatives, incorporating the principles of continuous improvement, a value stream approach, and the voice of the customer as appropriate to the specific objectives of the initiative. Provide for effective communication and change management processes across the operations as needed with respect to the initiative.
- Responsible for driving Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) projects across the plants.
- Train and develop Site CI Leaders as needed to drive continuous improvement culture across our operations.
- Develop, train, and mentor others in the use of Lean tools, approaches, and techniques to create a culture of continuous improvement.
- Train/Coach/Mentor employees at all levels of the organization on the tools and methods that support a continuous improvement culture.
- Provides cross-functional coordination and Lean subject matter expertise.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing with demonstrated project management and analytical skills.
- Clear understanding of lean principles and experience working with and leading cross functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Travel 50% - 75%, dictated by the needs of the business.
