Job Description

Team: Business Development

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Director (New Business) in the United Kingdom.

This is a high-impact commercial leadership role focused on driving new business growth within the social housing sector through innovative SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting strategic prospects across housing associations, councils, and related organisations. The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on execution, requiring strong relationship-building skills at senior and executive levels. You will own the full sales cycle—from pipeline generation to closing complex enterprise deals—while shaping go-to-market strategies in a competitive and evolving market. Working closely with marketing, pre-sales, and implementation teams, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and delivering measurable revenue growth. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to influence both commercial outcomes and long-term customer impact in a mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and drive new business sales of SaaS solutions across social housing providers in the UK and Northern Ireland.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, building structured outreach and engagement strategies to secure executive-level meetings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasting, reporting pipeline performance, and tracking KPIs such as meetings, conversions, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and implementation teams to support solution design, data testing, and proposal development.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client-facing forums to build brand presence and generate opportunities.
  • Create compelling business cases, commercial proposals, and value-driven sales narratives tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline, ensuring all activity, insights, and pipeline data are accurately recorded and updated.
  • Continuously refine sales strategies to improve conversion rates and competitive positioning.
  • Requirements:

    • 4–5+ years of experience in SaaS or technology sales, ideally with exposure to the social housing sector.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business sales targets in complex, consultative environments.
    • Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
    • Demonstrated success managing full sales cycles from prospecting through to close.
    • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to position solutions against competitors effectively.
    • Experience working in fast-paced, competitive environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
    • Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and resilient with a strong “can-do” attitude.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline management.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus structure
      • Private healthcare coverage
      • Life insurance (4x salary cover)
      • 25 days annual leave, increasing with tenure
      • Salary sacrifice pension scheme
      • Flexible and fully remote working arrangement
      • Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organisation focused on social impact
      • Strong collaborative and values-driven culture
