Regional Distributor (New York City)

Fooji, based out of Lexington, KY, is reinventing how brands and fans connect, bridging the online-to-real-life gap by delivering delightful experiences on demand.

We are looking for a Regional Distributor, based in New York City, to oversee and facilitate distribution in our new New York (SoHo) Storefront/MicroWarehouse. You will be responsible for coordinating personnel and processes to achieve the effective and efficient distribution of items. Warehouse and fulfillment are a core part of Fooji and this role will be crucial to our growth! You will work closely with and report to the Director of Logistics.

Regional Distributor Job Duties:

• Distribute items to couriers either from the storage facility or a pre-arranged distribution point
• Manage all in-market assemblies/kitting of items as needed and directed
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOP's) for all activities within the New York location
• Coordinate delivery drivers on the ground, occasionally answering questions, and directing them back to the Market Operations Specialist
• Arrange shipping of un-delivered items back to Fooji HQ
• Work autonomously without a manager overseeing your work
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System with scanning technology

Requirements

Who is our ideal Regional Distributor team member?

• Impeccable punctuality
• Ability to lift boxes sometimes up to 60 lbs,
• Must have an insured vehicle and can transport items to points around the city
• Strong communication skills and is accessible via mobile phone
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management System scanning (NetSuite WMS a plus)
• Can direct couriers where to get help if they have questions/concerns
• Comfortable being the point-person in market for Fooji during campaigns
• Works well in a small team environment and/or alone
• Entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated
• Isn't afraid of a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
• Is comfortable picking up and driving a rental truck or van
