Mars Wrigley North America is seeking a Regional Head / Sr. Director, ODDA Effectiveness to provide regional leadership to the Demand Data & Analytics Team.
The role helps build a regional Demand D&A strategy, develop and embed tools & associate capabilities, and realize sustainable value from these investments into the business. Helps deliver the roadmap of use cases from Sales, Category, SRM, Marketing, Media, Dcom The role will also provide connectivity with MW Enterprise Data and Analytics and Mars Wrigley Digital for broader Ecosystem impact and benefit creation.
The primary responsibilities are:
- Lead the MWNA One Demand Data and Analytics (ODDA) Strategy, Roadmap and implementation
- Engage One Demand leadership to define the Strategic priorities- identifying where our Internal, Consumer and Customer data and analytics capabilities can drive new levels of efficient business performance.
- Create the roadmap for implementation from analytics to activation in conjunction with the One Demand teams implementing and in alignment with Mars Ecosystem best practices.
- Ensure budget plans reconciled as appropriate across the One Demand business leads
- Agree and monitor the KPIs and metrics for the One Demand Data and Analytics strategy
- Oversee One Demand Data access rights and rules, and the processes to ensure appropriate quality and access is maintained.
- Align Regional Data and Analytics Value Creation
- Ensure alignment of MWNA One Demand Data and Analytics strategy with Regional Supply Chain Analytics and broader Regional and Global Digital Strategy
- Regional AI agenda and functional use-case deployment
- Regional data vendor management
- Data engineering last mile (back-end) in partnership with NA CIO / Global ODDA
- AI back-end engineering in partnership with NA CIO / Global / D30 enterprise transformation initiative team
This role reports to Rishi Padhi, Chief Digital & Information Officer, DIO North America, and will be a member of NALT +, One Demand regional team and Global ODDA Community. This role has 1 Direct report.
What are we looking for?
- 15 + years of experience at a CPG or manufacturing company, with 5+ years managing data products a retailer within complex environments will also be considered.
- Be a visionary leader with a strong technical background in data science and analytics, excellent communication skills, change management skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. This position not only demands a deep understanding of data but also requires the ability to apply this knowledge strategically to drive substantial business growth and efficiency.
- Technical and Operational depth in managing data products.
- Foundational understanding of AI, ML and how clean data can be leveraged by multi-modal LLMs
- Strong cross-functional Stakeholder management experience.
- Experience leading full-time, contract and vendor resources across multiple geographies.
- Bachelor's degree in equivalent field of study is required.
- An advanced degree would further enhance the ideal candidate's qualifications.
