Purpose:
As Regional People Partner your main purpose will be to support the wider business, by delivering a robust advisory and case management service to the organization.
As part of the People & Culture Team, you will support the delivery of the People Team's key objectives and support the aims and values of Kayak / OpenTable. The role requires a sound understanding of local legislation and employment practices.
This is a regional role, owning Denmark with an office in Copenhagen, and a part of the wider People Partner Team covering EMEA and APAC. We work closely with colleagues and managers who are globally distributed in many time zones.

Kindness/growth mindset 4-5 years of Human Resources experience Strong PC skills with excellent working knowledge of Excel, HR systems (Workday) to run HR-connected reports, G-suite;
(Advantageous) HR Experience in a Global Matrix organization
International experience Proficient in Danish and English (written and oral)

About Our Role:
- To be the first point of call for key managers in your region
- To proactively build unquestioning relationships with people managers and individual contributors to support the implementation of People & Culture initiatives
- Build the knowledge of regional legislation, which ensures advice and support are built on a foundation and understanding of legal risk.
- Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations and embed HR processes across the business, building credibility through being a trusted expert on HR matters
- Lead on the provision of high-quality and timely advice to managers on a range of often complex HR Employee Relations issues, enabling managers to make informed decisions and maximize employee performance.
- Ensuring that all policies are regularly reviewed and legislative changes are sent through to the HR Operations team on in a timely manner
- Partner closely with P&C Business Partners on global strategy and execution
- Working and partnering with the HR Operations team to ensure regional compliance, local legislation, and a high HR service delivery
- In partnership with the P&C Programs team, participate in cyclical HR processes including engagement surveys, performance management, and merit cycle processes for departments.
- Work with HR Services and Payroll team to ensure accountability for benefits, payroll, HR administration, and vendor requests for region/country.
- Assist / Lead short and long-term sick leave
- Advise employees on all types of leave.
About you:
- We are looking for a person with a flexible approach to work. Someone who can optimally navigate their way between different workplace cultures/offices in a matrix organization
- A true people person with significant employee relations experience
- Someone who can work independently as part of a wider team, and will thrive in a flexible environment with multiple time zones involved
- The role will suit someone who is well-organized but comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires sudden change
