About The Role
Looking for your next step in your IT career? PartnerHero is looking for a talented IT Manager. The Regional IT Manager is responsible for managing PartnerHero’s IT program within the scope of a particular worldwide region. This role is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day success of IT operations in this region, including management of IT staff, and will report to the Global IT Manager..
What you'll do...
- Managing, coaching, and developing the IT support associates in a specific PartnerHero region (Americas)
- Coordinating IT training programs and workshops for new and existing IT support associates
- Managing hardware purchasing, asset management, configuration & support workload applicable to a specific PartnerHero region
- Maintaining a high quality of service by integrating and enforcing global IT policies within your region
- Managing the network environment for offices in a specific PartnerHero region, including network planning, hardware purchase/install/maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response, and ensuring that the network environment meets PartnerHero’s security standards
- Performing systems administration for various cloud platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom) including configuration changes, maintenance, access management, device management, license management, and general platform management
- Communicating IT-related knowledge, issues, changes, and incidents to multi-departmental personnel in your particular region
- Planning, documenting, and executing IT changes within PartnerHero’s change management infrastructure for hardware, software, and cloud platforms
- Maintaining IT operating procedures, platform knowledge, and troubleshooting documentation in PartnerHero’s Confluence wiki
- Working with the information security department to implement security policy requirements and controls throughout various PartnerHero platforms
- Supporting all IT associates with advanced troubleshooting when needed
What we expect from you:
- Strong English proficiency, spoken and written
- 2+ years of experience building and running multi-site IT operations as a proven leader
- A firm grasp on IT program methodology, infrastructure, operations, and helpdesk best practices, with a focus on cloud platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- Extensive working knowledge of computer hardware/software support and remote endpoint management, security implementation, network and systems administration, and IT asset management
- Significant experience in IT project identification, planning, execution, and completion
- Successful track record in establishing IT operational change management processes and business continuity planning
- Experience establishing and maintaining a multi-region IT hardware procurement strategy
- Ability to manage, guide and inspire a globally-distributed team of IT professionals across multiple time zones worldwide
- Willingness to partner with information security teams to establish security controls and uphold company policies across IT operations
