Job Description

The Regional Manager will manage and direct a team of Territory Managers who conduct daily sales activities that involve, but are not limited to, account ownership of two-step distributors, lumberyard, contractor, and remodelers. The Regional Manager’s goal is to execute sales and marketing plans to achieve the sales budgets established for the region.

YOUR ROLE

  • Hire, train, develop and motivate a team of Territory Managers within region who are capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
  • Achieve sales budgets and maintain expenses at or below budgeted value
  • KPIs performance improvement - Fiberon Market Share, Dealer Share, Product Positions and Builder Share
  • Participate in strategic planning for Wholesale channel, translate vision into district/regional strategies, business plans, budgets and targets for district/region market share, sales and profit growth.
  • Lead Territory Managers in business development planning for specific market segments and channels. 
  • Develop annual business plan in conjunction with Divisional Manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Regional Manager on meeting or exceeding sales budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and target new accounts. Own some account relationships, delegates other account responsibilities to Territory Managers.
  • Key Dealers and Users acquisition and retention
  • Optimizing local Distribution to grow Market Share
  • Demonstrate the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for proposal development and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems
  • Conduct professional semi-annual Joint Business Planning Meetings with local Distributors
  • Effectively and consistently utilize CRM and the Sales Process of the Company
  • Make effective presentations using a variety of methods i.e. F2F, Go To Meeting (GTM) to both small and large groups
  • Gather and remit to Sales and Marketing management competitive programs, promotions and tactics employed
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
Qualifications

  • Valid state issued drivers’ license
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of sales management experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a leadership role developing and managing a successful sales force with a track record of coaching, developing and mentoring talent
  • Must have building materials industry experience
  • Must live within the core geography, have a history of business travel and have the ability to travel on on-going basis
  • Microsoft Suite experience and capable - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Enjoys public speaking and has ability to demonstrate products and company advantages to groups of all sizes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Professional sales training program or certificate
  • CRM experience
