SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and guiding a Sales Team which consist of Territory Managers, Clinical Managers, and Associate Territory Managers to profitably grow sales across the portfolio.

South West Region (Southern CA, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Southern Wyoming)

ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

Include but not limited to the following:

  • Meet and exceed established sales quotas.
  • Supervision of Sales Representatives (Territory Managers), (Clinical Managers) and (Associate Territory Managers) assigned to the division.
  • Responsible for assessing, selecting, and staffing Sales Representative (Territory Managers), (Clinical Managers) and (Associate Territory Managers) positions with individuals whose competencies are appropriate to the requirements of the position.
  • Responsible for designing and supporting a learning environment to develop current employees to be effective in their positions and prepare them for advancement.
  • Responsible for routinely working with Sales Representatives (Territory Managers), (Clinical Managers) and (Associate Territory Managers) in the field to assess their capabilities.
  • Responsible for providing timely feedback on customer requirements and issues affecting the acute care market.
  • Responsible for planning and monitoring progress of each territory and division to successfully achieving and exceeding annual sales goals.
  • Establish and manage the division budget.
  • Responsible to provide frequent and timely verbal and written feedback on performance related to business objectives.
  • Conduct (at minimum) quarterly field visits with each direct report with concurrent business review.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. COVID-19 Vaccination Required.

EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE:

BS/BA degree with 5+ years of experience in the sale of medical products. People management experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form to superiors, direct reports, and customers. Highly effective presenter.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability process complex information/analytics in order to monitor sales on an ongoing basis at the territory and divisional levels.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carryout objectives

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of this position require the ability to conduct extensive travel to meet with Sales Representatives (Territory Managers), customers and internal leadership, within the division.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is a field-based position requiring an office set-up in the employee's residence. Extensive travel is required.
