The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for aligning strategic marketing initiatives with SAS's overall sales and marketing strategy. This role focuses on developing and executing integrated campaigns to generate leads, build brand awareness, and drive renewal revenue throughout the customer journey. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to position IDeaS as an innovative market leader in the region.
What you'll be doing...
- Brand Awareness & Market Positioning:
Build regional brand, product, and capability awareness that results in sales pipeline and opportunity conversion. Plan and execute marketing programs to position IDeaS as an innovative market and thought leader within the region. - Market Insights & Segmentation:
Create market insight and segmentation plans designed to identify key segments and target alignment with regional growth goals. Partner with Demand Generation and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams to develop targeted marketing plans for sales pursuits. - Tactical Partner Execution:
Develop marketing plans and budgets, providing ROI analysis where applicable. Communicate performance results to management and offer feedback for performance maximization. - Lead Generation Programs:
Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Demand Generation teams to develop automated lead generation programs that progress, nurture, and convert leads, leveraging Salesforce.com, Pardot, SalesLoft, and other marketing applications. - Event Management:
Manage events, seminars, trade shows, and conferences to cost-effectively increase brand awareness, generate new sales opportunities, and create meaningful interactions between IDeaS and our prospects and clients. Measure and monitor the impact of events in terms of ROI from pipeline generation and revenue to inform future participation. - Sales Team Collaboration:
Develop collaborative and productive relationships with regional sales teams to build the sales pipeline, accelerate buying cycles, close new business, and exceed sales revenue goals. - Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
Provide strategic and tactical support to sales with ABM campaigns that help generate new opportunities, create impactful moments in the sales process, or accelerate the active pipeline. - Public Relations Engagement:
Engage in and execute public relations programs designed to position IDeaS as a thought leader in the region, thereby increasing brand awareness among target audiences. - Advertising Management:
Coordinate with the Sr. Director of Global Marketing to recommend, manage, and measure regional advertisement programs, including publication identification, ad copy development, call-to-action refinement, and final material placement. - Translation & Localization Management:
Oversee translations and any required customization or localization projects with third-party translation firms for regional marketing materials. - Market Analysis:
Analyze market and competitive trends within the region, maintaining knowledge of industry developments and best practices. - Campaign Component Creation:
Interface with internal and external providers for campaign component creation, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
What you'll bring to us...
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Pardot, and SalesLoft is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts, including digital, content, social, and email strategies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills for effective interaction with all audiences, including senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Solid project management and facilitation skills.
- Proficient in key marketing software applications and data analysis tools.
