Regional Marketing Manager
Job Description
As part of the Trane commercial business marketing team, you will lead and execute the marketing strategy for the Upper Midwest Region to drive sales and increase connections with new and existing customers. We are looking for someone who considers themselves a strategic marketing business partner to evolve Trane's reputation further as an expert in healthy indoor environments and sustainability within buildings. You will work day-to-day with the regional sales team to enhance the sales process and build relationships with key customers, influencers, and community associations as needed.
SUMMARY
As the Regional Marketing Leader, you will have the backing and collaboration of our broader Trane global marketing organization to support you in bringing the brand to life within the region. The position is located in the Chicagoland area, but open to Milwaukee or Minneapolis markets as well. Travel to various events and other Trane sales and service locations will be required, as well as interactions with customers and other external audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the regional strategic marketing plan to achieve market KPI's, including brand awareness, customer engagement, sales enablement, and revenue growth.
- Connect master Trane brand and strategic messaging at the regional level and ensuring connectivity with regional customers, regional leadership, and other audiences as deemed important
- Be an active member of the regional leadership team as a strategic advisor to the leadership team and support business strategy development efforts
- Build and executive effective and compelling integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads and accelerate through the funnel
- Support regional consumer insights and analysis via focus groups, surveys and other measurement
- Track and analyze competitive marketing efforts at the regional level
- Manage the regional marketing budget, metrics and analysis of the marketing activities
- Create region-specific content marketing, digital marketing, and public relations programs
- Identify and prioritize regional partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- Represent Trane at priority promotional, industry and stakeholder events within the region
- Serve as the regional leader for community relations strategy and philanthropic efforts.
- Analyze regional market trends and state / local sustainability programs that could be advantageous to our customers and sales approach
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Strong client service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team oriented
- Self-starter with an ability to handle a wide range of projects and work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Proficient in a variety of digital marketing technologies and tools; experience with Marketo, Salesforce, HighSpot and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) a bonus
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, solve practical problems, and make decisions based on insights
- Knowledge of marketing automation (DemandBase) and lead management tools
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience

Base Pay Range: $68,000-140,000
