Regional Medical Director for Cardiology Services

• Lead cardiology services across Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH), Gouverneur Hospital (GH), and Massena Hospital (MH).
• Allocate 20% of your time to an administrative role as Regional Medical Director, setting standards for quality, patient safety, and outcomes.
• Ensure all clinical activities are compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial leaders to achieve strategic goals and improve healthcare delivery.
• Oversee the quality of care within the cardiology service line and resolve any deficiencies.
• Develop and implement educational programs for staff, including continuing medical education.
• Lead and support efforts for departmental leadership and policy development to enhance consistency and efficiency across the service line.
• Provide clinical care, including nuclear reads, stress testing, EKG interpretation, and echocardiograms.
• Participate in outreach clinics 2-3 days per week.

• On-call schedule: 1:4, primarily phone encounters from the ED and hospitalists.

• Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Leadership experience in a clinical or medical setting.
• Expertise in nuclear reads, EKG, stress testing, and echocardiography.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure high standards of patient care.

• Base Salary: $660,000 - $735,000
• Signing Bonus: $50,000
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000
• Paid CME: $4,000 annually
• Licensing & Dues: $2,000 annually
