Regional Merchandising Operations Associate 

The Role
The Regional Merchandising Operations Associate will be responsible for assisting the Merchandising Operations team in delivering and executing the merchandising strategy. This role will assist the team to merchandise the in-store and online menus to create an experience that is easy to shop for and improves customer navigation. They will assist in ensuring products are represented competitively to meet sales, margin, conversion, and customer satisfaction goals. This position will report to the Merchandising Operations Manager.
Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the Merchandising, Buying, Retail Operations team and Digital teams
• Works cross-functionally to deliver the Merchandising and omnichannel business goals by executing digital merchandising/or merchandising operations strategies pertaining to one or more of the following: assortment strategy, vendor management, merchandising process design, digital merchandising analytics, and other projects as needed
• Assist the Merchandising Operations Manager in developing, implementing, and managing new scalable processes to enhance and maintain business strategy
• Setting-up discounts and banners online and at POS
• Serve as the primary contact for product data troubleshooting issues
• Creating and managing the accuracy of digital product content and product catalogs
• Working alongside the buying team to ensure information is accurately inputted into the point-of-sale
• Manage external resources and vendors to ensure data infrastructure is in place so that stores can add fresh deliveries to menus in a timely way
• Assist in optimizing the search experience by monitoring category search trends and performance
• Assist with monitoring category, industry, and competitive trends and insights; develops solutions to improve merchandising and promotional strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred + experience
• Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness
• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Possesses a high level of critical thinking
• Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
• Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb
• Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion for furthering their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.

Additional Requirements

• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Must possess valid driver's license
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
