The Regional Migration Champion (RMC) will focus onthe implementation and coordination of the execution of ongoing systemmigrations in their region. You will ensure migration planning is properlyplanned, including registration with the Migration COE, and executed followingall standard policies and processes.
You will assess migration issues, and developresolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals andobjectives.
Critical areas of focus are migration planning andimplementation to include audit verification and full site review to ensurethat the Migration CoE deliver a migration package. The RMC will champion anddrive Remote Migration Services (RMS), lowering overall delivery cost whileimproving bandwidth of customer facing engineers. The proper planning andexecution of customer critical migrations eliminates errors during themigration, which can lead to delayed revenue and poor customer quality scores.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent global best-practices are used before, during and after migrations.
- May work on-site or remotely with the local Project and Service organizations or directly with the customer throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Obtain and retain OPM L4 certification, you will successfully complete live On-Process Migrations and/or RMS and shall be recognized within Honeywell as an Experion migration expert.
- Connect with and be a mentor to EPKS OPM L3/2/1 resources.
- Connect with and be mentored by the Migration CoE, who collate lessons learned from migrations globally and share their knowledge via weekly Knowledge Sharing Meetings, optimized documentation, and updates in product training
- Be the Regional regional Single Point of contact (SPOC) for OPM L3/2/1 employees
- Ensure registration of all migrations within the region
- Ensure implementation of all Work Package actions in advance of migration start
- Work on-site or remotely with the local Project and Service organizations or directly with the customer throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Be an active member of the Global Migration Champions Community
Must Have:
- Be Certified at EPKS OPM L5and maintain yearly re-certification.
- Be able to influence across abroader organization.
- Attend and contribute tomonthly Migration CoE knowledge Sharing Sessions.
- Cascade Migration CoEknowledge Sharing Sessions to regional OPM L3/2/1 resources.
- Be able and willing to travel,to provide support and or execute migrations within the region.
- Update your HPD goal fordigitalization transformation to reflect RMC responsibilities.
