Regional Operations Manager - Fort Lupton, CO

Summary: 

We are hiring for a Regional Operations Manager in our Fort Lupton, CO location. This role is a key position in the future growth strategy of the region as the company continues to service customers and rapidly expand its business in the region. This position will report directly to the Area Manager – Rockies USA.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter who is responsible for building and managing a team of truck drivers and field technicians, as well as and leading CNG delivery and operations, facilities management, operational logistics and equipment maintenance in the region. Additionally, will provide technical assurance for the efficient and optimum running of platforms and related facilities. The role will require a customer focused individual with an ability to grow a loyal customer base through superior service.

Schedule:

• This position holds normal business hours but is always ready to support 24-hour operations.
• Frequent travel within the service area is expected, with occasional travel outside on an intermittent basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop, lead, and manage a world class operations and technical support team.
• Identify and execute improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Promote the strong safety culture present across the entire company.
• Champion the HSE Program and look for ways to improve our safety practices, incident reporting, behavioral based observations, and hazard Id’s.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
• Oversee customer support processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
• Leverage key internal stakeholder relationships with logistics, engineering, sales, HSE & HR to drive superior business performance.
• Initiate and execute strategic growth initiatives.
• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
• Other special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in a leadership role, along with strong technical expertise in the maintenance and operation of natural gas piping and distribution equipment.
• Relevant compression and natural gas experience is an asset.
• Preference given to those who have experience working with trucking logistics, contracts and dispatch.
• Preference given to those with a strong understanding of DOT regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of operations management (experience overseeing facilities, logistics, equipment, and fleet.)
• Strong leadership with proven experience managing diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an ability to deal tactfully with a wide range of personalities.
• Participative management, advocating teamwork and a positive atmosphere.
• Hold valid oilfield safety certifications – H2S, First Aid, CPR certificates, other required certifications.
• As a minimum, hold a valid driver’s license with preference for applicants who hold a CDL license with Hazmat endorsement.
• Proficient in the use of computer programs.
