Digital Turbine is looking for a Regional Ops Manager to manage a group of 3-4 growth managers in the EMEA region for our Performance team. The perfect candidate is a player-coach who's hungry to learn and grow their skill sets as well as pick up new ones on the fly. Previous experience in AdTech is a requirement. This Manager will be based in Berlin, Germany, to serve our EMEA customers and report to our Director of Global Performance Ad Operations.


The Manager will manage a team of Growth Managers, with a focus on helping the team meet its revenue targets and improving business processes, and be responsible for building customer relationships by providing solution-oriented and proactive client support for an assigned book of business. The role requires the person to become a subject matter expert for user acquisition (On-Device, DSP, Offerwall), both internally and externally. As an expert, the Manager will help accelerate Digital Turbine’s user acquisition offering within our Performance organization and with our clients. Additionally, the role requires the Manager to train and mentor individuals to deliver greater value to our customers, such as managing proactive customer outreach and driving Quarterly Business Reviews, while exceeding goals. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for leading Ad Operations team in EMEA
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and Yield and Supply teams to ensure the company delivers against client expectations.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for optimizations to achieve client KPI’s.
  • Allocate team resources effectively to manage workload and meet client demands
  • Mentor and cross train team on DT’s product suite
  • Secondary point of escalations for any issues 
  • Lead strategic global initiatives and projects for commercial teams across all DT products driving revenue opportunities and process improvements .
  • Define, scope, document, track progress, execute, and report up to leadership. 
  • Outline the specific tasks, processes, timelines associated with each initiative. Clearly articulate the goals, objectives, and results associated with the initiatives. 
  • Prepare and present status reports to team/ leadership, highlighting progress against each initiative, outlining issues and putting forth recommendations. 
  • Global roll out and training
  • Develop and lead the global rollout for each initiative including processes associated with the initiative, training for internal teams, and gathering feedback post rollout.
  • Primary support for Product and RnD teams. 
  • Act as the liaison between the Ad Operations team and Product; gathering input/providing feedback from the Commercial team on features/improvements to current platforms.
  • Subject matter expert on unified platform solutions

Required Skills Include:

  • 3+ years of experience managing people/teams
  • 3-5 years of online media, or other advertising experience and knowledge of online ad serving with mobile advertising in the EMEA region a strong plus
  • Ability to make an immediate impact with minimal supervision
  • Hands-on knowledge of ad serving systems and advertising tracking technologies, especially app MMPs (Appsflyer, Kochava, Adjust, Branch)
  • Ability to work with a global and remote team
  • A passion for all things digital, including a good understanding of industry trends (mobile device privacy updates) and how they can be used to deliver category-defining media solutions
  • A strong work ethic; ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Well-developed organizational and project management skills to ensure you can keep on top of your own and others’ workload
  • Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Fine-tuned communication, presentation, and influencing skills; with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites
  • Strong problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
