What we need:

Brady Corporation is seeking a Regional Product and Program Specialist (RPPS) who is primarily tasked with developing marketing and sales programs in support of significant sales opportunities. In this capacity, the RPPS will work closely with the Global Product Management (GPM), Marketing, Sales, and Analytics teams to determine appropriate messaging, price points, and program incentives for both end-users and channel partners.

It is critical that the person in this role develops a strong understanding of the value proposition of our products, the competitive landscape as it relates to our offerings, and the impacts of any pricing decisions relative to both margins and product positioning in the market.

What you'll be doing:

  • Establishes themselves as an expert on the value proposition of assigned areas
  • Specification guidance, interpretation, and assistance for the sales organization and related end-users; Mil-spec; ADM; lab spec
  • Support region- and/or industry-specific market messaging for assigned products and product groups
  • Assesses market pricing and establishes pricing guidelines for new programs and specific deals, as aligned with global pricing and market positioning guidelines; provide alternative product solutions where appropriate
  • Competitive part number translation and Brady product selection for new product launches and significant competitive opportunities
  • Develops and provides product training support to the sales team on primary product lines supported by the RPPS. Training will include both in-person training as well as virtual sessions.
  • Develop sales process for programs, spiffs, obsoletions and launches
  • Coordinates with analytics team to develop pricing insights and structure deals
  • Coordinates with the channel team to ensure partner compliance with Brady pricing, sales, and marketing expectations/agreements on special programs.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to utilize multiple data points, such as: CRM inputs, data warehouse, sales reports, and ERP components
  • Work closely with marketing and product management teams to improve competitive insights, messaging, and list price based on information gathered from regional end-user opportunities
  • Seek to develop new and creative sales enablement tools for assigned products; personas; decision maker identification; sales positioning statements
  • Operational support of assigned products; navigating quality issues; navigating internal fulfillment processes
  • Expediting orders; order rescheduling and prioritization

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of two years of sales or marketing experience
  • In-depth understanding of sales and business performance metrics
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to facilitate large-group discussions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to drive high-visibility, cross-functional projects
  • Strong understanding of product differentiation and competitive strategy techniques
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
