Job description

We are looking for a Regional Quality Services Lead (QS Consultant) to assist our facilities in the San Diego, California area. We are looking for someone who had experience as a Quality Nurse consultant supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities for at least 3 years. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel across our facilities. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing • Valid RN license • Minimum of 5 years working in a Skilled Nursing Facility required • Quality Nurse Consultant experience is a plus! • Previous Director of Nursing Experience • PCC (Point Click Care) EMR system experience is preferred • Willing to travel to areas covered Responsibilities not limited to the following: • Oversees the support provided by other consultants in the region • Ensures the delivery of nursing services in the facilities in collaboration with the administrator and director of nursing services, and other departments. • Assists in the Development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice, facility philosophy, and operational policies while guiding compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. • Participates in management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel, or resident complaints or concerns • Assists in the oversite nursing schedules to assure they meet resident needs and regulatory and budgetary standards • Coordinates and/or develops on-going QA tasks for nursing services to monitor nursing compliance with standards and regulatory requirements through rounds, interviews, and record reviews. • Establishes, implements, and monitors the infection control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment designed to prevent the devilment and transmission of disease and infection.
