Regional Recruiter- Remote
Job Description
The Regional Recruiter is responsible for being a brand ambassador that develops elite talent pipelines for store management and field leadership positions within DSW stores. The Recruiter will use the DSW Values of Passion, Humility, Collaboration, and Accountability to guide their decision making and candidate selection process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building, developing and executing full-lifecycle recruiting initiatives for DSW store leadership roles
- Responsible for developing creative, cost-effective, and diverse sourcing strategies including cold calling, networking, social recruiting and employee referrals
- Responsible for assessing candidates based on skill set required and recommending qualified candidates to the hiring manager
- Serve as a DSW brand ambassador in the external marketplace through relevant social media presence.
- Serve as the subject matter expert to business leaders as it relates to internal and external emerging work force trends, talent market intelligence and employment laws
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders on talent needs and skill sets based on location, coaches and influence hiring leaders through the talent acquisition process
- Remains current on DSW's organizational structure, HR policies and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Report out weekly to regional leadership team and share market insights
- Partnership with field leadership, develop a talent strategy, identify process and programs that will positively impact attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent
- Provide resources and best practices to store leadership that promotes active hiring plans to meet anticipated talent demands
- Ensure sourcing and recruiting databases are updated and all internal reporting requirements are completed accordingly
- Utilize data to drive decision making and improved efficiencies
Required Skills:
- Knowledgeable of multiple recruiting methodologies with a track record in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent
- Demonstrated record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity and understands importance of confidentiality.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal, organization, analytical, problem solving, follow up and project management skills.
- Ability to deliver results on multiple priorities simultaneously. Flexible approach to adjust to said priorities to meet the needs of the business.
- Self-motivated and solution oriented with a strong ability to negotiate and influence.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, HR business systems, and social recruiting tools
Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in full-lifecycle talent acquisition; experience with high-volume recruiting strongly preferred
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent experience preferred
