What you will do

The primary role of the Regional Reliability Leader (RRL) is to provide leadership and direction to the maintenance function in the region. He/She is responsible to Operations for the effective and efficient use of all manpower, materials, parts and other resources of the Maintenance functions on the region as well as providing capacity, asset reliability and best life cycle cost to the operation.

The RRL is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the systems, structure, training programs and processes necessary to drive achieve and sustain the Reliability functions. Through his or her efforts, a proactive culture that values reliability and effective life cycle asset management is achieved.

How you will do it

  • Leverages the organization's business goals into appropriate, Reliability and Life Cycle Cost goals that support and contribute to the Region's business results. Prioritizing Maintenance Major Activities in the region.
  • Accountable to Operations for the right stock of spare parts in the plant to guarantee a proper preventive program and quick response in case of failures. The value of spare parts in the region is within 10 and 25 Million US Dollars.
  • Accountable to Operations for the continuous optimization of the maintenance expense of the region. A total expense within 8 and 30 Million US Dollars.
  • Implements a measurement and performance evaluation system in support of two primary objectives, optimal resource management and optimal equipment reliability.
  • Sustains through time a high level of knowledge and expertise on the Maintenance Functions at the plants of the Region.
  • Reaches mutually beneficial agreement with all Plants in the Region on required capacity specifications, in terms of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Design deploy and implement PdM strategies for the region and ensure the region has the required equipment to deploy a PdM Master Schedule
  • Governs all CMMS Functionalities for the region (guidelines provided by Global TPM Team)
  • Leverage integration of CMMS / MES / PdM technologies as well as Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives
  • Drive Reliability KPIs for the region
  • Supervise the Reliability Engineering Team in the region (group of 4 to 7 people)

Key Activities

  • Enforces good safety practices within the Maintenance and Reliability functions.
  • Design and develop Life Cycle Asset Management in the Region and Total Cost of Ownership
  • Manages CMMS implementation, and ERP interaction
  • Leverages MFMEA in the region as a standard process to improve/define Master Routines
  • Governs Master Routine Standardization in the Region
  • Decision Making on Equipment Criticality Analysis settings for the region. Ensures the right level of Maintenance for every asset.
  • Certifies all Maintenance and Reliability Functions in the region to ensure results to be delivered
  • Keep the knowledge database of the Region updated and manage the training program for Maintenance and Reliability functions in the region
  • Work identification / prioritization
  • Manages Predictive Maintenance Equipment and defines PdM Master plans in the region
  • Define Condition Based Monitoring and its interaction to CMMS
  • Drive Creation of effective Equipment Maintenance Records
  • Drives Implementation of ISO 55000 Asset Management System

What we look for

  • Mechanical/electrical background necessary and tech school background 5 to 10 years' experience in reliability engineering related processes.
  • Certified Maintenance And Reliability Professional desired Must have an understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and TPM.
  • Lean-Six Sigma Black belt certification desired Must fully domain the RCM process, Asset Management & condition monitoring principles, tools and application
  • Expertise in all areas of maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and/or CMMS / EAM / ERP optimization is desired
  • Proficient on Popular CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance & Prisma
  • Should have good oral/written communication skills and possess tact.
  • Able to talk in public and teach large groups
  • Have good planning and organizational skills.
  • Orientation and commitment to customer service.
  • Requires 60% travel
