The Regional Sales Director on our US sales team is a senior-level “hunter” sales professional. You will be responsible for leading all sales activities in your region including pursuing/closing new business, building/managing a sales pipeline, leveraging channel relationships, and exceeding set goals.  

We are looking for individuals who are motivated self-starters, fanatical about solving customer problems, and have a passion for our mission – protecting kids.  

ABOUT THE ROLE: The following are the essential functions of this position. The list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.  

  • Generates and closes new business in assigned region to meet or exceed quota.
  • Foster relationships with district key contacts to heighten awareness of the company, the mission, and the products and services.
  • Design, prepare, and deliver sales presentations to close large opportunities, demonstrating to potential customers how our products solve their needs.
  • Leading by example to maintain a culture of accountability, trust, adaptability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Works alongside assigned Sales Engineers and resellers in assigned region.
  • Creates and submits proposals to new prospects.
  • Documents daily activity in Salesforce to track performance.
  • Schedules and completes weekly activities which include cold calling, phone prospecting and face-to-face meetings.
  • Responds to customer or reseller inquires in person, via email, or telephone, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.  

ABOUT YOU 

  • Possess minimum of five years of direct sales experience in education or technology or related industries. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of K-12 market space, e-Learning products, markets, and funding sources.  
  • Track record of growing sales year over year, and world-class customer retention  
  • Proven leader that leads by example and embraces change.  
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent 
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • History managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
  • Proficient in using Salesforce.com
  • MUST be a self-starter, be able to manage your own time, and work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication, analytic, and listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with both internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Ability to clearly document and record information.
  • Must have a customer-first attitude, always demonstrating a high level of professionalism and business acumen.
