As a Regional Sales Director, you will: 

  • Recruit, onboard, coach & mentor Enterprise AE's, leveraging Amplitude's best practices on selling our portfolio across our Existing Customer Base both vertically and horizontally
  • Communicate effectively with executives both internally and externally
  • Partner closely with the Customer Success team to drive 92%+ net retention
  • Ability to thrive in a culture of intellectual curiosity, accountability and high performance 
  • Understand the core metrics of the Enterprise business in your region and use them to forecast the performance of the team monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Support driving execution of key deals with customers via onsite and remote engagement using MEDDPIC
  • Lead and influence cross-functionally to ensure field marketing, product marketing, demand generation, partnerships, sales development and solutions consulting working together  to ensure shared outcomes are achieved.
  • Create business plan to growth business 35%-50% Year over Year
  • Build Enterprise Level Account Plans
  • Build Territory plans driving consistent behavior across team
  • Ability to drive weekly team meetings and drive repeatable and predictable qtrly cadence
  • High aptitude to drive business using data analytics
  • Build regional executive relationships with partners
  • Deep understanding of West Commercial landscape
  • High curiosity to understand technology and how it effectively solves business challenges 

You'll be a great addition to the team if you:

  • Have sold data and analytics in fast growth start-ups 
  • Have experience selling 7 figure complex deals 
  • Familiar with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message Methodology 
  • Are data-driven and use metrics to understand how to coach and manage the qualitative elements of the business
  • Love hiring and recruiting the best possible talent and are passionate about building a world-class Enterprise sales team
  • Have a playbook for executing complex Enterprise deals, and know when to leverage it and when to leave it behind
  • Are passionate about getting hands-on with your team to drive their success
  • Enjoy helping scale a high-performance Enterprise business while helping to identify & tackle the things we need to help double the team’s revenue over the next 12 months
