Regional Sales Manager - EMI
Job Description
CASIO AMERICA, INC. has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager-EMI opening. This role is responsible for accurately analyzing the geographic sales territory for earning capability, while maintaining proper distribution methods for our product line in the Electronic Musical Instrument Division. The Regional Sales Manager will train retail salespeople, aid in retail merchandising and promotions, and assist retailers in upholding Casio's selling standards for our instruments. This position reports to our Electronic Musical Instrument Division and the primary selling location is Central US. The Sales Territory are the following States: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, and South Dakota Candidates must be located in the selling territory. This is a remote position that is not based out of our Dover, NJ Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:• Provides specialized product knowledge and conducts field demonstrations, training and presentations to manufacturers' representatives, key accounts, etc.• Develops and maintains relationships with customers through on-site visits throughout designated region; pursues new accounts and avenues of distribution; works with buyers to affect changes in current sales and marketing strategies. Travel should be a good mix of training, promotional, dealers, and prospect visits to keep up with trends and any changes. Visits could occasionally include weekend days.• Develops and constructs reports on marketing plans, market information, and competitive analysis; tracks sell through and return of product.• Submittal of reports in a timely and accurate fashion. (Reports such as travel itineraries, market reports, sales forecast reports, as requested by management)• Manages manufacturers sales representatives to maximize sales, profits, and service; educates, trains, and updates representatives on current programs, product availability, etc.• Enhances overall sales and marketing efforts by reporting on market trends, market feedback, and competitors' efforts; assists in making recommendations for new product development.• Achieves the annual/quarterly/monthly sales volume quota assigned to the territory. Occasionally other quotas may be assigned that must also be achieved (i.e., profit, major accounts, specific models, etc.).• Frequently communicates with headquarters to keep abreast of divisional goals and objectives.• Supports marketing efforts by attending and assisting in various trade shows.• Comprehend and ensure compliance of Casio Dealer Agreements, including online sales and other marketing activities.• Other Responsibilities/Duties as assigned by Management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and ten or more years related experience; or advanced degree and eight or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience:• Background with formal sales training• Familiarity with CRM Software such as Salesforce• Ability to travel for assigned tasks up to 75% of the time.• Understanding or a background of Operations and Finance for Planning and Forecasting duties is Preferred• Past experience selling with/for a Consumer Electronics Manufacturer Preferred• Experience or knowledge of the Music Industry/ Musical Instruments Preferred• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000.
