Are you a dynamic, results-oriented leader passionate about driving sales success while nurturing and developing top-notch talent? We're seeking a high-energy, strategic thinker to fill our Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d) position in the Netherlands.

As a Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d) of our Orthopaedic Instruments (OI) and Surgical Technologies (ST) sales team in the Netherlands, you are responsible for driving revenue and developing the sales team consisting of 5-6 people. Working in a fast-paced environment excites you, and your non-stop intensity fuels your days. Knowing that relationships are key to success in sales, you will build ongoing partnerships with customers and internal relationships with your sales team as well as internal stakeholders. To exceed territory market share objectives, you will analyse market information and drive the annual marketing plan into clear objectives for your team and thereby drive profitable sales throughout your region.

The Job's Mission:

At Stryker, we are looking for a talented, highly motivated sales leader who will be responsible for driving our OI & ST business in the Netherlands.

You will be part of a high caliber, achievement driven sales team, who shares a strong belief in helping our customers to make healthcare better. You will be responsible for the management of your sales area, the leadership of your team as well as sales, turnover, and cost - so that optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers is guaranteed. You will report into the Business Unit Manager, OI & ST, Northern Europe.

Your key responsibilities:

The Regional Sales Manager (f/m/d)Netherlands will be a member of the Instruments Northern Europe Leadership team, and responsible for the revenue targets of the region. The post holder will:

  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Develop and lead the commercial strategy for your region, by incorporating Marketing, Key Accounts, Flex Finance, ProCare, and X-Div.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts each month.
  • Contribute to the creation and the execution of the annual marketing plan.
  • Manage key customer relationships (existing and new), aimed at retaining and growing the business and reputation of Stryker in the market.
  • Drive performance through comprehensive coaching, mentorship, and tailored training programs, focusing on individual skill enhancement.
  • Implement effective strategies to identify and nurture high-potential individuals, fostering a robust succession plan for future leadership roles.

What are we looking for?

Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related discipline preferred.
  • +5 years of proven track record in sales ideally acquired in the healthcare sector.
  • Solid experience as a sales leader and management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in contributing and executing on a marketing budget and plan.
  • Proven experience in delivering market share growth and financial commitments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills and strong cross-functional influencing skills & teamwork.
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level) and Dutch (mother tongue), both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
  • You hold a valid driver's license.
