Accountabilities:

  • Lead, coach, and manage a regional team of account managers to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Spend significant time in the field supporting team members, conducting ride-alongs, and building relationships with key customers.
  • Monitor territory performance, ensuring robust business plans are in place to protect revenue and capture growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and strategic check-ins to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members to build a high-performing sales organization.
  • Drive execution of sales cycles, product launches, and promotional initiatives within the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing to align on campaigns, product knowledge, and customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform strategy and provide actionable insights.

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience in sales leadership or management roles within a commercial or life sciences environment.
    • Strong background in eyecare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related industries is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating sales teams to achieve regional targets.
    • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to analyze market dynamics and translate insights into strategy.
    • Experience in key account management and customer relationship development.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
    • Willingness to travel frequently within the region and occasional international travel.
    • Valid driver’s license required.
