MAJOR DUTIES:
As a Regional Leader, you will be the Services Point of Contact (POC) for customer accounts within your defined Segment. You will have responsibility over managing existing customer service accounts and use market intelligence to establish new customer accounts. Also, you will work closely with CapEx account managers and delivery teams whose responsibility is to install CapEx equipment at our customer sites. As part of your services leadership responsibilities, you will directly manage a team(s) of personnel with trades such as PLC and/or Robot Programming and Electromechanical Technicians. Their day-to-day assignments will fall under the small projects and service support opportunities managed by the Regional Service Leader.
Responsibilities
Front End Responsibility:
• Serve as customer Services Point of Contact (POC) for your assigned Segment.• Work with Integrated Services management and sales team to identify and capture new service opportunities in the Segment• Manage all Services funnel activities through established opportunity tracking tools together with the company sales team• Work with account managers and delivery teams to establish new customer relationships and accounts within your Segment.• Become familiar with key customer decision makers.• Travel to customer sites to oversee and manage service personnel assignments and customer coordination.• Travel to customer sites to assess current line status and identify new services upsell opportunities.• Responsible for leading a dynamic team focused on developing and delivering world class services solutions.• Work with Integrated Services Management and regional Operations Director to lead, develop and recommend winning sales strategies within your customer base.
Back End (BE) Responsibility:
• Decide on the best concept of operation to deliver the won service contracts based on good understanding of the capability and capacity of Integrated Services Groups within the Segment• Provide oversight and governance on the services delivery to meet or exceed contractual requirements• Understand your customers operational and business development needs, promote, and upsell services standard product offerings.• Support the development of low-cost services product proposals.• Continuously align Services products to changing market needs.• Assists IS Manager in formulating departmental strategic plan and workforce sizing.• Manage personnel assignments and forecast utilizations to provide optimum output of the Services team.• Remain engaged with individuals in the Services team to best utilize their skills and align assignments to benefit all parties.• Visit the customer on a regular basis anticipating customer needs, proposing services standard product offerings designed to improve the operational life, performance and reliability of the CapEx.• Provide oversight and governance on customer satisfaction and personnel performance to continuously improve our Services capabilities.• Develop relationships with qualified and approved third parties required to execute work within regions.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in manufacturing technology, engineering, business administration or related field. This can be waived for candidates with highly applicable experience.
• Minimum four years of direct experience with automation equipment, installation/integration experience preferred.• Proven direct sales experience selling industrial automation products, services, or related products, such as precision tooling, machine tools, special purpose machinery, industrial robots or industrial machine control systems. Candidate must have working knowledge of advanced manufacturing technology automation, tooling, and manufacturing processes.• Proven experience managing direct employees, including at a minimum work assignments and time approvals.• Proven experience managing projects from planning through to project execution including resource planning, supply chain, scheduling, internal, external communication strategies and quality management. • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills, representing the company's long-term business requirements.• Technical proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite.• Effective verbal, written, and communication skills.

• Ensure that equipment, materials, and protective devices are functioning in a safe manner• Ensure that employees are working in accordance with divisional health and safety procedures• Applies progressive discipline as appropriate for health, safety and/or environmental violations• Advise employees of the existence of any potential or actual health and safety risks• Provide appropriate instruction for safe work• Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of employees• Conduct periodic inspections and audits in accordance with legislative and/or corporate requirements• Conduct accident/incident investigations, prepare necessary reports, and communicate to line management, health and safety personnel and health and safety committee• Ensure that all employees, including temporary workers and contractors, adhere to safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment• Support activities and initiatives outlined by the Joint Health and Safety Committee
