ETAS, Inc. seeks Regional Solution Field Manager (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15800 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Work in lockstep with Global Key Account Management for our lead customers as well as regional Business Development. Strengthen ETAS’ thought leadership position around Software Defined Vehicle by publishing white papers, speaking at industry events, and representing ETAS on social media platforms. Act as the technical expert for ETAS’ Software Defined Vehicle. Lead the technical discussions with our customers. Design innovative solutions which combine deeply embedded automotive software and Bosch’s new cloud-based technologies and services and convert these into proof-of-concept projects with our customers. Lead a team of local engineers. Ensure successful execution and delivery of these proof-of-concept implementations. Responsible for the team’s competency development and growth according to the business. Manage and grow our existing business with current products and solutions around Software Defined Vehicle such as ASCET and EHANDBOOK. Responsible for managing the engineering services around Software Defined Vehicle and, together with the team, deliver on time, quality, and cost to ensure continued customer’s satisfaction. Titles and Number of Employees Supervised by Regional Solution Field Manager: (2) Senior Software Developer, (1) Software Developer REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, plus 8 years of professional experience as a Software Engineering Technical Lead, Chief Software Architect, or other occupation/position/job title involving Senior Level Software Engineering Specialization within the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1. Virtualization technologies and virtual ECUs; 2. Continuous Integration and Continuous Development environments (Jenkins, SVN and Git); 3. Automotive and classical IT software testing methods using unit testing frameworks and hardware in the loop systems; 4. Automotive model-based software development with ASCET, and AUTOSAR; and 5. Object-oriented IT software development (C# and JAVA). Telecommuting: Remote Work May Be Permitted. Travel Requirements: 10% domestic and international travel required.
