PPE is part of Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS). The business unit delivers high performing and comfortable personal protective equipment (PPE) that offers workers the most effective protection available. Portfolio includes electrical safety, fall protection devices, respiratory devices; head, hand, eye and ear protection devices.
THE POSITION
Honeywell is hiring a Sr. Director for the US & Canada Region in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business unit. Based in Charlotte, North Carlina, the Sr. Director will report directly to the President of PPE and will be responsible to lead the United States & Canada region, leveraging all aspects of the business, including commercial, operational and functional, to outgrow the market, improve operational excellence, and reduce cost.
The Sr. Director of the US&C Region is expected to be a high-energy, creative, and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and instincts. The successful candidate must be a hands-on leader who possesses the best combination of strategic thinking and drive to achieve tangible business results and growth across the portfolio in a real-world P&L.
The Sr. Director of the US&C Region will drive excellence in commercial and operational performance, and consistently deliver strong top-line revenue and EBITDA. The ideal candidate will directly lead the US&C sales team, including channel leaders, zone managers, regional product sales managers covering all PPE lines of business: Fall Protection, Respiratory, Electrical Safety and General Safety in the region; and will work hand-in-hand with cross functional leaders in Offering Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, ISC, R&D, Quality, Sourcing, SIOP and HR to drive growth in the region.
With proven ability to maximize revenue and profitability you will drive key metrics including pricing, delivery, and inventory performance. You will develop strong partnerships with key customer and suppliers to drive marketplace opportunities, lead sales pursuits, oversee internal processes, and provide leadership in the achievement of common goals in the US and Canada.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and Drive a Strategic Plan for Business Growth:
- Work with the regional Line of Business (LOB) leaders to develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) to ensure profitable growth and risk mitigation.
- Manage business execution to meet or exceed annual revenue and operating income targets
- Drive operations, sourcing, finance functions to a common vision and deliver best-in-class performance on-time delivery, quality and service that exceed customer expectations.
- Establish and own the PPE US&C Region go-to-market
- Continuously drive commercial operating system and maintain high standard of sales excellence aimed at serving and expanding the customer base
- Lead efforts in building forecast; partner with ISC, SIOP to drive high levels of forecast accuracy
- Drive customer centric, high accountability culture that supports appropriate risk taking and decision making from the team.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent within the organization through effective performance management, development planning and succession management
- Build robust management operating system which establishes efficient processes and enhances operational productivity, cost management and profitability.
- Support Offering Management to shape branding and build market penetration strategies for the region
- Drive effective Capital Allocation strategy that supports the regional business growth targets
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or technical discipline
- Minimum 12 years of leadership experience in Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and/or Strategy

- Experience in ISC (Manufacturing, Sourcing, SIOP)
- Demonstrated leadership experience setting the vision and building, leading & motivating commercial teams. Leads by example with creativity, strategic thinking innovation & influencing skills.
- Executive experience in matrixed organizations, with proven ability to influence across businesses, functions and regions to build deep collaborative relationships.
