Are you passionate about building relationships with Suppliers?? Arrow is hiring a regional Supplier Business Manager to support our IBM business in each of these 4 regions:
- Southeastern U.S.
- Northeastern U.S.
- Midwestern U.S.
- Western U.S.
The primary focus of our Supplier Business Manager is to drive positive results for Arrow and IBM in three critical areas: Revenue Growth & Profit Enhancement, Demand Creation, and Relationship Development.
Each of these positions will work remote from home and must reside within the respective assigned region. These Supplier Business Managers must be able to travel up to 50%.
What You'll Be Doing
- As a Supplier Manager, you will build influential relationships with key decision makers at IBM in order to grow sales and market share. In this position you will be expected to develop key relationships, present value messaging, drive field engagement, and provide guidance to the field on large opportunities.
- Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers resulting in Arrow being able to gain competitive advantage on sales opportunities and be a supplier advocate within Arrow.
- Develop key partner rep relationships and drive supplier and partner rep engagement.
- Work as a resource for the sales team to enable navigation throughout supplier and internal org, to assist in selling suppliers/technologies to customers and to position Arrow appropriately with suppliers at both the corporate and local levels.
- Identify specific market segments and customers to market specific suppliers and technologies to the Arrow sales team with the goal being to grow revenue and customer base.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales/market share with suppliers and/or technologies and conduct stakeholder management with key constituents in other departments to enable implementation of strategies.
- Present Arrow and VAR value.
What Are We Looking For?
- 5-7 years' experience in Channel, Direct, or Partner Sales
- Thorough understanding of Channel is an absolute MUST
- Distribution Sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience building strong partner relationships
- Strong Salesforce and Excel skills, ability to track, analyze and report data.
- Ability to understand and sell value proposition
- Experience solving complex problems
- Good collaborator, able to work closely with internal and external contacts to solve problems and gain buy-in
- Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organization
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
