Regional Support & Marketing Projects Manager, South Bend, IN
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Plans, manages and executes marketing projects that meet the Bank's overall and regional goals in collaboration with the Marketing team and retail banking management.
POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Develops and maintains healthy working relationships with retail banking regions, and marketing team. Communicate expectations, respond promptly to needs and ensure projects progress to an on-time completion.
- Partners with corporate marketing team to develop strategies and plans for each local market. Develop ideas to enhance local and regional outreach with unique and useful marketing.
- Advises and fulfills regional event needs including marketing materials, merchandise and apparel.
- Maintains proper knowledge and insights of retail banking products, services as well as our local markets and competitors.
- Demonstrates strong ownership of regional marketing projects and management of all region marketing work requests.
- Manages marketing team projects, including adherence to timelines and team member accountability to deliverables.
- Monitors and responds to general marketing requests though Marketing inbox.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external vendors.
- Keeps current on government regulation and federal/state policy as it relates to products and product line updates.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training and compliance requirement responsibilities related to the position.
- Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs all other marketing and product management duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Two (2) or more years of previous banking experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere and learn quickly; to execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated relationship building skills (active listening, professional appearance and demeanor, and confidence).
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational (detail oriented) and time management skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time frame. Able to identify and map out executional tasks to complete projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Treat people with respect under all circumstances, instill trust in others, and uphold the values of the organization.
- Willing to keep learning and asking good questions.
- Computer skills (Word and Excel); ability to navigate through various software and systems.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel for meetings, projects, or training as needed.
