This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Vice President, Northwest in the United States.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Vice President to lead and grow a high-performing sales organization in the Northwest region. In this role, you will drive multi-suite expansion, retention, and revenue growth while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to execute strategic account plans. You will lead a team of enterprise sellers, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence through disciplined processes and metrics-driven performance management. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong executive engagement skills, and the ability to influence across multiple levels of complex public-sector accounts. With a focus on delivering predictable business outcomes, this role blends coaching, strategy, and operational leadership in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Hire, develop, and lead Account Executives to achieve on-time renewals, multi-suite adoption, and new logo expansion.
  • Drive a rigorous operating cadence including weekly forecast reviews, one-on-ones, monthly business reviews, and quarterly executive reviews with clear actions and ownership.
  • Inspect and manage pipeline quality in Salesforce, coaching on stage exit criteria, mutual close plans, risk mitigation, and slip reduction.
  • Approve and enforce account plans mapping whitespace, executive sponsors, state initiatives, and next plays by persona; ensure effective governance with customers.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Services to enhance adoption, service attach, retention readiness, and renewal execution.
  • Coordinate state strategy with Area leadership and State Strategy functions including stakeholder mapping, procurement vehicles, and coordinated pursuits.
  • Remove blockers and orchestrate overlay teams, including Solution Consulting, Services Sales, and Sales Development, to improve win quality on complex pursuits.
  • Provide market, competitive, and policy insights to guide offer structure, pricing, and regional GTM strategy.
  • Travel regularly (50–60%) across multiple states to advance strategic deals, lead onsite demos, and facilitate executive workshops.
  • Requirements:
    The ideal candidate combines sales leadership expertise with strategic thinking and operational excellence. Required qualifications include:
  • Proven track record leading sales teams to achieve bookings, retention, and multi-suite expansion targets in complex public-sector or K–12 environments.
  • Experience managing teams through 9+ month complex sales cycles with multi-persona executive engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, ramp, and retain high-performing enterprise sellers and coach on executive communication and complex pursuits.
  • Strong leadership in operating cadence including forecast reviews, business reviews, and executive reviews with actionable follow-through.
  • Expertise in pipeline and forecast discipline in CRM systems, with proficiency in MEDDPICC or equivalent deal methodology.
  • 10+ years enterprise SaaS sales experience, with at least 5 years managing field sellers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced Salesforce proficiency preferred.
  • K–12 or public-sector knowledge, including funding cycles, board approvals, RFPs, and state purchasing vehicles, is highly desirable.
