Sodexo is seeking a Part-time Registered Dietitian (20 hours/week, must work Thursdays other days are flexible) to work with our fulltime Clinical Nutrition Manager at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community in Raleigh, NC. What You'll Do

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • provide nutritional care to the resident in skilled nursing;
  • see independent living residents upon consult;
  • conduct regular wellness events for residents;
  • meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
  • be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;
  • represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/orsupport the food service operation as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
