Registered Nurse On Call - $2,000 signing BONUS!!

The RN on-call provides nursing care with special emphasis on control of pain and other symptoms to hospice patients after hours. Shift: Monday - Thursday 5pm - 12am. Must be Licensed as an RN in the state of PA. • Ability to relate and treat terminally ill patients/families and their particular problems. • Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management and documentation skills. • Previous experience in venipuncture skills and intravenous therapy administration preferred. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skill. • Access to reliable automobile with proof of liability insurance. • Communicates pertinent findings to the physician, implements medical treatment plan, instructs family accordingly. • Identifies problems/needs of patient of caregiver, making recommendations for pain management and comfort/symptom management. • Responds to calls promptly when received from answering service.
