Registered Nurse Pre-Op/PACU

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition post-surgery, ensuring stability during recovery. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes. • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. • Maintain infection control standards throughout the Pre-op and PACU environment. Skills • Proficiency in pre-op and PACU nursing • maintain BLS and ACLS • Experience with plastic surgery patients. • Strong background in infection control practices within healthcare settings.
