Registered Nurse (PRN-ICU)

Responsibilities: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles - Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status - Develop and implement individualized care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor and interpret patient data, including vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic tests - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care - Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques - Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient environment Qualifications: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice - Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry or related field preferred - Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interpretation of telemetry strips - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Skills: - Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and communication purposes - Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing is a plus - Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment procedures is desirable - Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is beneficial - Experience in pain management techniques is advantageous - Understanding of memory care principles for patients with cognitive impairments is helpful - Knowledge of neonatal ventilator management is a plus - Proficiency in critical care nursing practices is desirable - Experience in home care settings is beneficial - Familiarity with inhalation therapy techniques is advantageous Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
