FSMG is looking for exceptional candidates to join our team as afull-time IVF Nurse. The right candidate will be an integral part in providing coordination of IVF cycles and fertility care to our patients. Responsibilities & Duties: Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Coordinate all infertility diagnostic tests and treatment plans between patients and physicians • Telephone triage with patients regarding medication, treatment plans, and test results • Provide patient care through ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF and oocyte donation • Assist with retrievals and transfers both pre, during, and post op care • Demonstrate a strong clinical expertise in all IVF procedures • Assist in examinations, procedures, phlebotomy and administer medications to infertility patients • Provide patient education on treatment protocols, medications, and infertility procedures • Responsible for accurate and timely communication of lab results to patients • Responsible for constant communication between patients and physicians • Communicate physician orders and instructions • Maintain patient charting, testing and flow sheets • Monitor and stock examination rooms with required supplies • Maintain a safe and clean working environment Job Requirements & Qualifications: Education/Experience/Skills • Valid CA RN license required • 2 years OB/Gyn experience required • 1 year IVF experience preferred • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to remain calm respond appropriately in all stressful situations • M-F 40 hour workweek with on-call rotation • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPPA compliance • Computer literate and keyboard skills • EMR Competency • Professional and neat appearance • Skilled in charting and document nursing actions We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
